Posting here is only allowed by members. The procedure for posting here is to provide a brief description of your Feather, and to provide an xpi for download (if available, and is NOT required). The purpose of sharing here on Epic Nest is to gain feedback and talk about your Feather. The advantage of posting here on Epic Nest is that you have nothing to lose here, so you can see if your Feather is ready without getting a bad start for your Feather. Feedback on Epic Nest is also more robust and engaging due to it being a forum.

Basically, Authors post new topics, and all members can reply.


Suggest
If you have a great idea for an Feather, but do not want to create the Feather, then you can post about your idea here. Supplementing your idea with visual mock-ups is ideal, but is NOT required. If a person/team picks up your Feather and says he/her/they will build it, then that person/team MUST post saying that they are going to build it. The person/team can then start a new thread under the 'Share' Board and will credit the person who gave the idea.


Development Q&A
Any Questions regarding the development of Feathers can go here. Any question is acceptable, and misplaced questions will not be punished (unless you intentionally keep doing it).


Awards/Badges
At the last week of every month, a poll will be opened to select the Feather of the Month. Feathers will be nominated based on how recently the Feather has been updated (so we don't keep nominating old Feathers) and the quality of the Feather. Feathers will be nominated be me (LIB53), but I will provide a "None of the above" option and you can post what you think should be Feather of the Month. The winner of the Feather of the Month award will receive a a badge that can add to their description on the official Songbird Addons page. First place receives an Epic Badge, and second place receives Gold.

Another badge that can be more easily received is the Epic Hatchling badge, which is given to any addon that is developed here in Epic Nest, and has a thread under the Share Board.
